We commit to offer a learning environment, integrating the curriculum (educational goals and objectives) and lesson plans through varied interest centers that promote learning through multi-sensory experiences.

Children will exhibit a range of skills and competencies in eight domains or developmental areas.

Language Area – Children will develop effective language and communication skills. They will learn language to communicate his/her ideas and thoughts. The children also will learn the basics of inter-personal communication to help them express their feelings to teachers and peers.

Literacy Area – We will develop awareness of letters and encourage interest and appreciation of books. Although the best predictor of successful reading is facility in letter naming; letter recognition is not sufficient to promote success in reading. Children will learn to make the connection between print and spoken sound, and a prerequisite to this skill is phonological awareness.

Mathematics Area – The basic principles of addition and subtraction are taught first with materials the child can see and manipulate, then later in more abstract form. Children will develop knowledge of shapes, numbers and the capacity of counting, comparing and calculating.

Science Area – In our classroom settings, science is an exciting and popular subject. Studies in botany, zoology, basic physics, astronomy, biology and chemistry are explored through individual projects aided by experiments, field trips and natural observations. Children will develop curiosity about nature and the world.

Creative Area – Children will get their first rhythmic experience from their own speech, through songs and poems interpreted dramatically and embellished with percussive sounds and melodic pitches. Children will value creativity and expression through many modalities. Students will also use a variety of artistic media to increase skill, communicate and enjoy the creative process.

Approaches to Learning Area – Children will learn best when allowed to touch, feel, hold, smell, listen, see and taste. Our sensorial materials are designed to refine these senses and illustrate their use as child’s tools for exploring the world. Children will develop the ability to think critically.

Social/Emotional Area – Children will develop positive social skills, including cooperation and interdependence. For young children, the mastery of everyday tasks is an important step toward building self-confidence and personal initiative.

Physical Area – Our creative and carefully designed play areas provide room for vigorous physical play. We will develop fine and gross motor skills.
